Common questions about signing in, sync, language, and your account.

How do I sign in?

Open Library or the You / Subs tab and choose Sign in. Follow the Google / Supabase auth flow in the app. Some YouTube features need an extra read-only YouTube permission — grant it when prompted, or switch accounts and sign in again.

Why isn’t my library syncing?

Sync runs after you sign in. Check your network, pull to refresh Library, and confirm you’re on the same account you used before. Guest data stays on-device until you sign in.

How do I change language or night mode?

Open Settings in the app. Night mode and Language are under Appearance. Language options include system default plus several locales (for example English, 简体中文, Português Brasil).

How do I delete my account?

When signed in, open the account menu from Library and choose Delete account. This removes account-linked library data from our backend according to the Privacy Policy. Uninstalling alone does not always delete cloud data — use Delete account when offered.

Playback failed or a video won’t start

Upstream stream formats change often. Try Retry, another network, or update the app. Some videos may be region- or age-restricted and cannot play in YTLite.
